starting point. Most of the methods described in the above listed articles are discussed at our
meetings. Please join us. We encourage dahlia enthusiasts to join us regardless of experience. We
can learn from each other, even from the questions of others.
If you attend our meetings you will find that there are many differing opinions concerning methods which
may be used at each step in the cycle of growing dahlias, especially in the areas of digging them up in the
fall and storing them over the winter months. Rather than trying to describe here all the different methods,
we are providing links to pre-existing descriptions already available on the web at different dahlia society
websites. Each of us in the Dahlia Society has chosen methods which seem to work best for us as
individuals, although we may have changed methods at times to see if something different works better.
